This years convention will again be a joint undertaking combining the talent of both Mississippi Florist Assoc. and Central Allied Florist Assoc..  We expect this year's gathering to be even larger and more exciting than last year.  Last year we drew a large crowd from not only Mississippi but also from Louisiana and other neighboring states.

At this years joint convention in Vicksburg MS, we are having a "TOOL BOX RAFFLE" to raise funds for the purpose of helping to underwrite the Mississippi State "Designer of the Year" competition and other educational programs.

We are asking your help with this special project.

The raffle of this "TOOL BOX" honors Ted Dillon, a former MFA President, for his many contributions to the floral industry and his leadership at the helm of our state organization.

The traveling trophy given to the winner of the "Designer of the Year" competition is named "The Ted Dillon Cup". 

We are asking for donations of any material that can be used by a florist ... tools, vases, ribbon, wire, tape, baskets, containers, foam (silk or fresh), caps, aprons etc.  These items will be combined to make our "TOOL BOX" and will be raffled at a dollar a ticket.  Everyone has an equal chance.

All items donated will be include in the raffle and the donors will be listed on signage, placed in a public place, next to the items being raffled.

Please help make this a success and give generously.

The more education we make available to our members the more we improve our industry and prepare for the future.
